Most of you know that my 17 year old niece shonda is having a baby. I am now her legal guardian. Since her mother (my sister) one of my many sister's. Met this guy from ohio on the internet. And she decided after meeting him just once she was in love with him. And moved to ohio with him. And gave me guardianship of shonda.
She has two names picked out for her baby. The boy's name.... Brian Leroy (leroy is my father's name) And for a girl Amber Lynn. These are my choices for boy names. Hugh John i came up with this name. After both of my grandfather's (there middle names) And William Dunn After the babies father and great grandfather.
Girls name's i came up with. Ruth Helen (great grandmother from father's side) Esther Sue ( relatives from father's side) And Mabel Mae (again from father's side) My grandmother's name's are Martha Rose ella, And Alice Gertrude. Not useable names And my mother's name is Arvona Janice. Again not a useable name. Let me know what you guys think?
Besides i am just doing this to make shonda squirm. Big time. I told her to name the baby after her bestest auntie ever. And she won't give the baby my name. Who would name there child faye? That was my question to my parents. My aunt marie told me i was named after faye dunaway. But now i found out from my mother that she got my name from some romance novel. Jeez how lucky i got? NOT! I really hate my name. Cuz i will answer to hey or say or anything that even sounds like my name.

Ruth? Mabel??? William?? Martha? Do you know WHY these are grandparents names, because THEY ARE OLD! AND HIDEOUS!!!!! Why on earth would you name a baby such an old hideous name? No child is going to care of the 'signifigance' of their name! Give them an awesome, one of a kind name. Like AnBerlin Skye for a girl, and Aspen Hunter for a boy...but PLEASE dont name a baby a ugly name like Brian Leroy. Leroy?? Are you KIDDING ME!!!! Or William Dunn, sounds like hes going to be called Billy Dunn..sounds like a wrestler. Gross.
I am with Jared with this. Give that baby a cool name. Mommy being 17 should see this. My name for a baby (since im not having anymore) is 'Amberlin Nation' (Jared stop steelin my names!!) and for a boy, 'Hawke Danger' (So when hes older he can be all chic suave and say, Danger is my middle name)
My oldest daughter is 18, she called me this week with, mom Im pregnant'..then laughed as i had a heart attack, and said, im just kidding!
kids are going to be the death of me.
